Hi! I’m Amber, a self taught makeup artist with over 14 years experience. I honestly wasn’t the girl who grew up into makeup and fashion. I grew up in the 90’s where I matched my neck ribbon to my shirt and packed on mascara and lit my eyeliner so it could glide on my waterline! How times and trends have changed.
I got into makeup my junior year of college and from there I have immersed myself into growing and perfecting my God given talent. I love the Lord and have been walking with him faithfully for 9 years. My faith is extremely important to me and I believe my business is a testimony of His goodness.
I’ve taken many classes and worked to perfect my signature look which I believe to be a soft “schnatural” glam; elevated and perfected while still feeling like yourself. One of the biggest compliments brides give me is that they do not feel like they are wearing makeup. I love every part of the makeup process but my FAVORITE part is your customized lip combo. Will your lip combo be a minimum of 4 lip products? YES! But will it be the perfect bridal combo? Also, YES!
As a newly wed myself, I now understand what brides experience leading up to their big day. Every detail matters and there are more decisions to make than we’d like to. My part as a former bride is to make this part of the wedding process easy and effortless and my commitment to you as your makeup artist is to make your special day just that - special. Amber was the BEST makeup artist to have on my wedding day! Obviously the getting ready process can be all things exciting, anxiety producing, and just incredibly emotional — Amber was beyond a MUA for me. Her and I got along right off the bat at my trial, and even more after I had a Mike O’Leary in the background playing an R&B mix all morning long! She was able to read the room and help me settle my nerves by singing with my bridal party and I, while also gassing me up that my makeup was looking good! I wasn’t afraid of being too glam for my wedding look, but I also still wanted to feel like myself and Amber helped me reach that happy medium. She checked in with me for pretty much every step of the process, asked me what I thought, and kept building from there. She was accommodating for the notes I had, then gave her recommendations as a professional that’s done so much makeup on different types of skin, complexion, ages of women. That being said, both my MIL and mom (both very picky and particular Filipina women about their makeup with aging skin) were very very happy with their makeup too. My makeup lasted all day in warmer weather (September wedding in Simi Valley, CA) with minimal touching up (really just my lippie after eating/drinking)! And the body glow? Girrrrrrrl, the glow was glowing. All that to say, BOOK her, and book her TWICE - for your rehearsal dinner AND your wedding day. I only have two regrets with Amber: that I didn’t book her for my rehearsal dinner, and that I didn’t book her to stay with me all day (even though my makeup didn’t need it, but she would’ve been such a sweet person to have during pictures to touch up if we needed to!). Amber, thank you so so much for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Having you was such a treat and I can’t wait to book you again in the future for more weddings and events <3

There are not enough great things I can say about my experience with Amber! She did my makeup for a very hot, outdoor, summer, beach wedding and when I tell you it looked absolutely flawless all day... I mean it! I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and every day I try to somewhat recreate what Amber did and I just cannot! She truly is such a skilled and talented makeup artist. She made me feel very comfortable sitting for the duration of my makeup time, she worked so fast, and she also communicated all the products that she was using on me as well. Which I personally appreciate, being someone who would go out to buy the products so I could recreate the look! She gave me exactly what I asked for, but catered to the necessities of my face. Where do I begin!! Amber is incredible. Seriously. She did an amazing job, and my wedding makeup was exactly what I had dreamed of and more.
I did 3 MU trials prior to finding Amber, each one ending in something that felt like a look I could have done myself. I was so relieved when I found Amber- she is awesome to work with, quick and responsive, flexible, and has such a wonderful personality. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked the right questions, and was so patient and helpful. The day of was SO SMOOTH- she really added to the fun of getting ready the morning of. I was LITERALLY shook when she finished my day-of makeup I couldn’t believe how much I loved it. She really went the extra mile to make me feel special as well as my girls and my family. My makeup stayed on perfect throughout the night (note: I worked a 12 hour shift WITH A MASK after my initial trial and my MU also didn’t budge).

Where do I even start? From the very first moment I met Amber, it was just good vibes all the way around. She came to my house for a Bridal Preview which I truly appreciated because I had never gotten makeup done professionally before I sat down in her chair! Amber made me feel very comfortable and was so down to earth but also very professional as she glammed me up. I felt beautiful. And just a sidenote- I was planning my entire wedding right after I had given birth to my first child so getting makeup done and feeling like myself again was a BIG MOMENT for me! I felt like an absolute QUEEN the day of my wedding. Not only that, but she vibed so well with my wedding hair stylist as well as my bridal party.
